Phase two of the development of Prat de Portal in the Tarter zone is expected to start in May.
On April 17th Molines Patrimonis awarded the work to COMESA, the same building company that carried out the work for phase one. This phase, carried out between July and November 2019, basically consisted in channelling the river
Two more streams will be channelled and will reach the river. Also planned is the installation of all the services and the building of pavements, positioning of street lights and litter bins, refuse area and eventually , the tarmacking of the road. Total cost of this work is 500,000€.
The health situation due to the crisis caused by COVID-19 permitting, work should start in the middle of May or in June at the latest as the aim is to be ready for the Immaculate Conception long weekend which also marks the start of the skiing season.
Although Molines Patrimonis has had to close its offices due to the health situation, it has been able to carry on working remotely. Activity has not stopped at all except for work relating to the building sector which, epidemiological situation permitting, will re -start at the beginning of May with phase two of the opening up of business activity.
