A reality in 2023

Casa de la Vall hosts the presentation of the transnational candidacy project for UNESCO World Heritage. The proposal of Andorra, Spain and France will become a reality in 2023.

The presentation of the project for the transnational candidacy between the states of Andorra, Spain and France for UNESCO World Heritage, which includes 13 monuments, was formalized this morning at the public presentation at the Casa de la Vall. The proposal seeks to have UNESCO recognize as World Heritage the material testimonies of the construction of the Co-Principality of Andorra. The list includes thirteen monuments, two foreign (the cathedral of La Seu d’Urgell and the castle of Foix) and eleven national, including the archaeological site of La Roureda de la Margineda. The event was chaired by the acting Head of Government, Toni Martí, and the deputy mayor Mònica Bonell. SOURCES: Diari d’Andorra www.diariandorra.ad
