Espot, Riva and Marsol visit the deposit

The Head of Government and the Minister of Culture, accompanied by the Consul General of Andorra la Vella, visit the archaeological remains of Margineda led by Montse Cardelús and Albert Villaró.

The Head of Government, Xavier Espot, the Minister of Culture, Sílvia Riva, and the Consul General of Andorra la Vella, Conxita Marsol, today visited the medieval site of La Roureda de la Margineda.
Molines Patrimonis, for its part, was represented by one of its two partners, Montse Cardelús, who, accompanied by historian Albert Villaró, offered an interesting visit to explain the origin and meaning of the medieval structures of this space declared a site of cultural interest.

The Government and the Municipality of Andorra la Vella have agreed to intensify support and work side by side with Molines Patrimonis to continue promoting it. The Margineda Site is one of the most important archaeological sites in Andorra, dating from the 12th to the 15th centuries and which explains part of our history.
